We're there with you during the selection process and we make it as painless as possible and even fun.  With David McNair's engineering and design experience, you benefit with our company's up-front review of the project without investing any financial resources. COMMUNICATION:

We know that communication is very important to the success of every endeavor where a partnership exists. Building a home is that kind of partnership. We have made home pages available for customers  desiring a regular update of home construction progress. We post progress updates, selections, and pictures of the home as it is being built. We know this is especially comforting to those overseas clients, out-of-town clients, or traveling customers needing that additional communication connection. For those clients not on the internet, we send picture updates, and use traditional communications networks to insure a comfortable and thorough communication process.

TIMING  & SCHEDULES:

Our company has always considered scheduling a vital and important part of a successful project. Mr. McNair has provided his expertise in the area of scheduling to many large projects around the country and has implemented those same techniques to the day-to-day activity scheduling required for us to be successful.  Weekly production meetings are a requirement for all staff members to start the week.  Each schedule is reviewed in detail and important long-term and short-term milestones identified and discussed each early Monday meeting.  Not only are construction schedules reviewed, but customer service has always been a part of the weekly reviews and will always remain as important to us as it is to our customers. Our schedules will be specific and accurate. Milestone dates for the complete design, design revisions, design approvals, construction starts, completions, and owner move-in will be set to allow for proper planning and minimize owner anxiety . We'll be specific regarding the owner decision dates and move-in dates while providing some flexibility to help you in your planning.   •  We provide livable floor plans reflecting the market trends as defined by our local customer market. Our ability to integrate these needs into our custom home plans help make us successful as builders and market leaders in customer value and designs.
  • Our prices are fixed each quarter of the year and repriced for each project to insure they fit within those quarterly prices. Because we are able to fix our prices with subcontractors and many suppliers, we are able to provide the best value for your home investment dollar.
  • There are minimal surprises for our suppliers and subcontractors, since many of our purchases and specifications are consistent. Our vendors and subcontractors know of our long-time financial stability, and our professional approach to business and ethics, so our prices are better than many competitors. These savings are passed through to the customer through better pricing.
  • Value engineering is constantly considered throughout the process of design and construction. Many products are reviewed regularly by David McNair, and other staff members to keep us up to speed with new innovative products. However, we don't jump in without thorough evaluation of capitol costs and operating costs of new products, and especially understanding the quality and dependability of them. In today's market place, it's critically important to provide options to customers which can mean savings in energy consumption, or quality dependable products at better prices and to consider each as they relate to green construction.

 WARRANTY AND MAINTENANCE :

We have an extensive written warranty and maintenance manual for all of our homes and more importantly, we're there to insure your maintenance and warranty needs are met to your satisfaction. You're never left out there without our assistance. Our service and warranty coordinator and other service personnel are a big part of our company's success. Most of our clients discover our company through word of mouth because of our quality reputation and our commitment to properly complete and service the home after completion.

 DESIGN QUALITY :
  •        Our long-time relationships with established quality architects provide you with discounted upfront design costs due to our involvement, familiarity, and communication with these professionals.  We work with professional Architects who know the practical value of builder input and owner feedback. Value engineering and professional builder feedback during this process is vital to product value and design quality.  Our team staff of professional project managers and engineers are the best; combining them with our architectural relationships, make our approach and process the best in Hilton Head and the Low-Country.
